The second day of the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine should be as exciting as the first. Here’s a look at the schedule for all position groups.

We’re officially in the thick of the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine. Everything has kicked into high-gear and the first-day jitters are over for many prospects. Now they’re looking to go out and make an impact on the field. For many, the outcome of their performances in these drills is crucial to their placement in the upcoming draft.

The Day 1 arrivals have officially left Indianapolis and begin preparation more offseason work. But don’t fret, the action doesn’t slow down one bit heading into a new day. Plenty of positional groups still have plenty of events to undergo.

Here’s an official look at Saturday’s schedule.

Day 2 Arrivals: Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers, Tight Ends

On-Field Workout (timing, stations, skill drills) — Departure from Indianapolis

Day 3 Arrivals: Defensive Lineman, Linebackers

NFLPA Meeting — Psychological Testing — Media — Bench Press — Interviews

Day 4 Arrivals: Defensive Backs

Measurements — Medical Examinations — Overflow Testing — Interviews

As you can see, the offensive skill players will participate in on-field workouts. It can’t be stressed enough how much value teams put on these positions. Even tight ends are placed on the same level given the transition of the position. They’re just as valuable pass-catchers as some wideouts. Just ask Rob Gronkowski about that.

Next: One reason each team can win Super Bowl 53

The wide receiver group will be an interesting crew to watch. Many draft experts have labeled the strength of the group in the second and third rounds. Behind Calvin Ridley, there aren’t many locks for the first-round. Look out for Courtland Sutton, James Washington, and others to make leaps with impressive combine performances. We’ve seen it happen plenty of times before.

This is a day you aren’t going to want to miss out on. It might just prove to be the most exciting yet.
