1. player. 42. . NFC. West. San Francisco 49ers

Let’s be real. Leaving the Jaguars at this time would be difficult. NFL players only have so many opportunities to play for a Super Bowl contender. Robinson should realize that Jacksonville’s competitive window is now open for the next two years. But what if he were to leave in his free agency? Is there any team perhaps more worthwhile than staying in Duval County?

The only team that could be a better fit for Robinson would have to be the San Francisco 49ers. San Francisco has come alive since trading for Jimmy Garoppolo at starting quarterback. He, along with head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch, should have Niner Nation fired up for the future ahead. That being said, the 49ers do need to provide Garoppolo with more excellent skill position players to be a viable threat in the NFC.

Fortunately for the 49ers, they have a top-10 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, as well as $71,728,331 in available cap space. Expect San Francisco to be huge spenders this offseason. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that the 49ers go worst to first in the NFC West and win at least 10 games in 2018. Garoppolo is the real deal and Robinson could be his star wideout for a long time.

Though San Francisco could afford to pay Robinson a premium, the 49ers may not have to. The organization has finally gotten out of its own way in the aftermath of the Jim Harbaugh divorce. San Francisco is set up to succeed now and in the future. Jacksonville might be a great spot for Robinson to contend for a championship now, but the 49ers’ future is brighter than that in Duval County.
