Here’s how you can watch The X-Files season 11, episode 8 live online or the old-fashioned way right on your television.
Witchcraft is the centerpiece of The X-Files’ latest episode, “Familiar,” tonight on Fox at 8:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. Central. You can catch Mulder and Scully right from the comfort of your computer with Fox’s live stream of the episode. It’s one of the last three episodes of the season, and Gillian Anderson’s final season on the series. “Familiar” was written by Benjamin Van Allen and directed by Holly Dale.
Season 11 will conclude on March 21 with the episode “My Struggle IV,” which is written/directed by X-Files creator Chris Carter. According to TVbytheNumbers.com, last week’s X-Files episode, “Rm9sbG93ZXJz,” scored 3.23 million viewers. Season 11’s premiere episode, “My Struggle III,” which was also written/directed by series creator Chris Carter, remains the season’s most viewed episode with 5.15 million viewers.

In the trailer for this week’s X-Files episode, we see Mulder comment, “Someone’s been practicing witchcraft … Demons have been unleashed.” A masked figure that looks straight out 2007 horror film Dead Silence or Saw, you pick your favorite movie reference, appears in a forest watching a youngster. We see an angry wolf growl at Mulder at the trailer’s conclusion.
Mulder and Scully will have their hands full with supernatural dark forces this episode. Foul play is clearly amiss in Connecticut, and only Mulder and Scully will be able to get to the bottom of it. The fact we’re potentially witnessing the duo’s final cases together is mind boggling. They’ve been a TV staple since September 1993.
