LeBron James believes that his current basketball play is at an “all-time high.” He’s 15 seasons into his career and absolutely right.

Four-time NBA MVP LeBron James scored 39 points to elevate his Cleveland Cavaliers to a 113-108 win against the Denver Nuggets. James is 33 years old and in his 15th NBA season. Still, he is proving he’s the best player in the league. In last night’s win (Mar. 7,) James went 15-of-25 shooting while also knocking down 5-of-8 from three-point range. After the game, James spoke with ESPN’s Cassidy Hubbarth to imply that even at 33 years old, his basketball game is at an “all-time high.”

"“Probably an all-time high. Just because of my body, my mind, the way I go out and approach the game. And then, just the grace of God, giving me the ability to do this. I’m blessed, and I never take it for granted.”"

James current season averages back up his proclamation. He’s averaging 27 points, 8.4 rebounds and exactly nine assists per contest. He’s also shooting just under 55 percent from the floor and just over 37 percent from 3. His combined points-rebound-assists total is 44.4: the fourth highest of his career, per ESPN.

Next: Seahawks right for blowing it up

James is accomplishing this without the likes of Kevin Love or a true third option. Love is still recovering from a fractured bone in his left hand but is expected to be back soon. The Cleveland Cavaliers have gone under a huge roster overhaul, most notable trading Isaiah Thomas while landing Larry Nance. Jr and George Hill in the process. Despite the loss of Love and players such as Iman Shumpert and Dwyane Wade via trades, James has continued to thrive. James understands though, there is no reason to debate with those who question whether he is one of the all-time greats. His play will continue to do the talking.
