When does 2018 March Madness start?
By Jake Ellis
Well folks, it is March, and we all should know what that means! March Madness is back! Here are the official dates when each of the rounds start.
We have come upon one of the greatest times in all of sports! March Madness and the 2018 NCAA Tournament are here and that means we are in for an exhilirating three weeks of college basketball. For avid college basketball fans, this is the most exciting time of the year, and for good reason! I mean come on, it really does not get much better than day after day of buzzer beaters, upsets and so much more!
Now technically, the madness does not begin with the first round. we have to have our first four play in games in Dayton, Ohio, and those games happen on Mar 13 and 14. The First and Second rounds of the tournament occur from Mar. 15-18. The Regionals (Sweet Sixteen and Elite Eight) are from Mar. 22-25. All of those games lead up to the Final Four, which happens on Mar. 31, and the Championship Game on Apr. 2.
One thing you won’t have to worry about is not finding any of the games because once again the NCAA and CBS will be showing all of the games across three different networks. CBS will be the main channel for all of the tournament action, as well as the Final Four and National Championship games. Leading up to the final weekend, you can find games on TBS. TNT and TruTV.

Who will win it all? How far will Cinderella go this year? What upsets will we see? March is known for a few things like Spring Break, but I think March Madness might top it. When the ball is tipped, that is when the Madness will truly begin. There will be brackets a plenty, but the one question that will be on everyone’s mind is the same every year when the Madness begins: Who will be the team to cut down the nets? Tune in this year to find out!
