The first round of the 2018 NFL Draft will kick off on April 26, with the Cleveland Browns selecting first overall for the second straight year.

The 2018 NFL Draft is under two months away, and that means that mock drafts will be all over the internet for the next couple of weeks. The Cleveland Browns have the first pick in the draft, and they have been quite busy in free agency already this offseason.

Not only will the Browns pick first overall, but also at No. 4, where they received a draft pick from the Houston Texans during the 2017 NFL Draft. The Browns are actually trying to make themselves competitive this season, after bringing in guys like Jarvis Landry and Tyrod Taylor last week.

Here is our latest 2018 NFL Mock Draft.

USC. Sam Darnold. 1. player. 53. . Quarterback

The Cleveland Browns have been busy this offseason already, bringing in Tyrod Taylor, and Jarvis Landry to name a few. While they continue to bring in veteran talent, they still have two of the top four picks in this April’s 2018 NFL Draft. With that first overall pick, the team should look to bring in a quarterback, even though they recently signed Taylor to be their starter next season.

When it comes to this draft class, it is anybody’s guess as to which quarterback will be the first off the board in April. Some experts love Josh Allen, while some love Josh Rosen, but we are going to stick with Sam Darnold being the top signal-caller to go on draft night. Darnold has the ability to start right away in the NFL, and while that may be the case, sitting behind Taylor in year one should help him.

Darnold struggled a bit with the turnovers during his time with the Trojans, but he has the talent to be a solid starter at the next level. He decided not to throw during the NFL Scouting Combine, but he did run his 40-yard dash. That should not hurt his draft status, and you can be sure you will hear his name called early in round one, possibly first overall.
