Oklahoma. Baker Mayfield. 12. player. 16. . Quarterback

The Buffalo Bills need a quarterback, and luckily for them, they should be able to get a very good one in the top 15 picks of the 2018 NFL Draft. There is also the possibility of them trading up even higher to get their man, after Carson Palmer retired after the 2017 season. Sean McDermott went through growing pains in year one, but bringing in a player like Baker Mayfield should bring excitement to the field every Sunday.

Mayfield had an incredible college career, as he was a walk-on twice, and finished as the Heisman Trophy winner. Sure, he has a lot of fire when it comes to his game, but that is what makes him the leader he is today. While people like to compare him to Johnny Manziel, he couldn’t be further from that comparison, and will be an absolute leader at the next level.

The Bills also pick later in round one, and could bring in a wide receiver with that pick. This team got so much better on defense last season, so it makes sense to spend a top first round pick on the offense. Mayfield has the intangibles you look for in a quarterback, and could be the best signal-caller in Buffalo since Jim Kelly.
