The Pittsburgh Penguins roll into the ever-so-hostile Bell Centre in Montreal on Thursday night to take on the banged-up Canadiens.

Every point matters in the Metropolitan Division, and the Montreal Canadiens would love nothing more than to take two away from the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Canadiens have won only three of their last 10 games. Despite this, they are coming off a big win against the Dallas Stars on Tuesday, having seemingly embraced the role of spoiler for the rest of the season. They will be playing tonight after two days’ rest, while the Penguins played the New York Rangers last night. These two teams have yet to clash this season.

Here are the details for tonight’s game:

Montreal Canadiens vs. Pittsburgh Penguins

Date: Thursday, Mar. 15

Location: Bell Centre, Montreal

Time: 7:30 p.m. ET

TV: NBCSN, TSN2, RDS, ATTSN-PT

Live Stream: Fubo.TV

Washington, Philadelphia, Columbus and New Jersey will all be cheering for Montreal tonight, as a Pittsburgh loss would help keep the ridiculously close Metropolitan Division up for grabs. Every point matters for the Penguins right now, though they look poised for another deep playoff run on the backs of superstar Sydney Crosby, Hart Trophy-hopeful Evgeni Malkin and hot dog-lover Phil Kessel.

The Montreal Canadiens are in the midst of their worst season in recent memory. Plagued by both injury and a lack of deep talent, they are sitting in the bottom half of the Atlantic Division with only 64 points.

The Canadiens have lost arguably their best 5 players to injury this season, including: Carey Price, Shea Weber, Victor Mete, Max Pacioretty and, most recently, Andrew Shaw after a scary collision with Dallas Stars defenseman Greg Pateryn during Tuesday’s win over the Stars.

There’s no saving the Canadiens’ season at this point, but there is nothing stopping them from going out and playing spoiler. Above all else, let’s hope both teams have fun.

Enjoy the game.
