Look to the Avalanche, Capitals, and Stars for picks in all positions to help you round out your line-up for tonight’s games.

There are six games in total around the NHL tonight. In the early games, the New York Islanders face the Washington Capitals (7 p.m. ET) and the Dallas Stars face the Ottawa Senators (7:30 p.m. ET). The San Jose Sharks face the Calgary Flames (9 p.m. ET) and the Nashville Predators face-off with the Colorado Avalanche (9 p.m. ET). The late games for the night are the Detroit Red Wings against the Anaheim Ducks (10 p.m. ET) and the last game of the night is the Minnesota Wild against the Vegas Golden Knights (10:30 p.m. ET).

Over the next few slides, you are going to find what I believe are your best picks of the night. I’ve separated my picks by position starting with centers, then wingers, then defense then tying it all together with goalies and a potential lineup. I have six players for each position, separated into high-salary players who are worth their cap hit and high-value players who provide a better value then their low cap hit may suggest.

Important note, every day the goal of this post is not to give you a copy-and-paste lineup. Instead, each selection is given while highlighting the factors you need to consider when building a customized lineup for yourself. If you want to see an example lineup, you can find it on the final slide of the post, but I suggest you adjust your lineup to fit your personal taste.
