The 2017-18 Toronto Raptors season has been special, but their best moment to date might be getting their own parody of The Office’s intro.

Of all the surprising storylines to emerge in the 2017-18 NBA season, the Toronto Raptors being the best team in the East and playing like a Finals contender might be the biggest one yet. In years past, the Raptors have often enjoyed regular season success only to experience playoff disappointment. The play of their stars come playoff time is a stark contrast to what fans have come to expect in the regular season which has some worried that this season might be fools’ gold.

But this season feels different. Not only have the Raptors never played this well, they’ve never had to rely on their backcourt of Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan less. Much has been made of their all-bench unit which has a net rating of 24.7 and often propels their runs. They also rank top five in offensive and defensive efficiency, something no other team can say.

But even if they come up short to a team like Cleveland or Boston in the playoffs, this season should be cherished. That’s why this Redditor came up with a parody of The Office intro, so that Raptors fans will always have something to remember this season by:

Most of those clips have come from the Raptors’ own show Open Gym, which allows the players to reveal a side of themselves they would never show elsewhere. More than anything, it proves that they would do well in a sitcom setting, making this Office intro perfect for them.

But just having the intro wasn’t enough for fans. They had to go the extra mile to figure out which characters from The Office they would represent. That Dwane Casey, a frontrunner for Coach of the Year, is Michael Scott is perfect. As for Jim and Pam, you could do worse than the best bromance in the NBA:

No matter how good the Raptors may be, fans keep complaining that they don’t get enough media coverage in the States. Well hopefully, this clever fan video that has gone crazy viral will help more people take notice of them.
