NBA Power Rankings: Utah Jazz leap into the top-5
By Daniel Lewis
It was just last week that the Spurs looked like toast, having lost all three games that week to slide out of the playoff hunt. They responded with three straight wins this week, polishing off the Magic before grinding out wins over the Pelicans and Timberwolves. They still don’t have Kawhi Leonard back healthy, but they’ve been able to figure out how to win without him. They knocked down 84 percent of their field goals in the second quarter against the Timberwolves — that’ll help any team win a game here and there. They may get a boost from the injury bug for a change, welcoming the injury-depleted Warriors to San Antonio tonight to kick off their final dozen games.
