31. Arizona Coyotes  (-)

For the Arizona Coyotes, some things never change…like being last in the power rankings and looking for new ownership options. Last week, Coyotes chairman Andrew Barroway announced he is interested in adding additional investors. The good news for the Coyotes is he isn’t looking to sell outright, and the team will stay in Arizona if other investors are brought in. Talks of a new arena have been surrounding the team and that would be another bright spot for those who want to keep the team where it is. Bringing in more investors and more money could accelerate a new arena project.

The Coyotes played a rough stretch of games this week facing the Los Angeles Kings, Nashville Predators and Minnesota Wild. Unfortunately for the Coyotes, their only win of the week came against the Los Angeles Kings. This upcoming week features one of the most important games for the Coyotes of the season. Wednesday night they will travel east to take on the Buffalo Sabres in this year’s edition of “Tank Wars.” Both teams are near the bottom of the standings and hoping to win the draft lottery for the chance to draft future superstar Rasmus Dahlin. With Oliver Ekman-Larsson’s future with the Coyotes in question, Dahlin would be a great addition to the franchise.
