The Boston Bruins look to add to their triple-digit point total, while the Minnesota Wild try to secure points at home and fend off the Colorado Avalanche in the standings.

This is a tough stretch for Minnesota, who saw Nashville last night before facing Boston tonight. The game has some significance to each of the teams’ respective playoff positions. While it is near impossible for the Wild to catch the Winnipeg Jets ahead of them, they have to remain focused and stay ahead of the Colorado Avalanche to hold on to the third position in the Central Division.

Boston is coming off of another very impressive third period come-from-behind win against the Dallas Stars on Friday night. The Bruins scored three goals in the third to beat the Stars 3-2. They would love another win tonight to keep the first overall seed in the East within reach.

Here are the details for tonight’s game:

Minnesota Wild vs. Boston Bruins

Date: Sunday, Mar. 25

Location: Xcel Energy Center, St. Paul, MN

Time: 7:30 p.m. ET

TV: NBCSN

Live Stream: Fubo.TV

Eric Staal (39 goals) will continue his hunt to be the league’s leading goal scorer, after ever-so-slightly falling out of the ridiculous pace being set by Ovechkin (44), Laine (43) and Malkin (41) at the moment.

It is also worth noting that the Wild have only six regulation losses at home this season, making them one of the tougher arenas in the NHL to travel to.

The Bruins earned their 100th point on Wednesday, marking the 22nd season they’ve managed to do so. The Bruins hold the NHL record for 100-point seasons, as they are now three ahead of Montreal, Philadelphia and Detroit (19 each). The Bruins need a win tonight if they look to keep pace with the Tampa Bay Lightning in the competitive but top-heavy Atlantic Division.

The Bruins won the first meeting between these two by a score of 5-3 in November. This time they’ll have to deal with a little more adversity, as they still have significant injuries to their line-up. They will continue to look to their young talent to produce in a system that has been successful all season long.

Boston might gain an added spark if Patrice Bergeron returns to the team for tonight’s game. He has been medically cleared and will be a game time decision after this morning’s skate with the team. With Bergeron healthy, the Bruins are a difficult team to beat.
