DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 26, 2018

Three games at 7 p.m. ET on Monday with the Knicks taking on the Hornets, the Lakers against the Pistons, and the Nuggets against the Sixers. The Grizzlies meet the Timberwolves at 8 p.m. ET while the Celtics and Suns close the night at 10 p.m. ET.
My favorite plays of the day can be found on the following slides in FanSided’s DraftKings daily picks. Each day in order to offer a variety of price points at each position, you can find two slides for each position–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each pick is ranked on a scale of 1-5 stars to indicate the confidence in the pick. The final slide of this post has more detail on what each level means, but in short, more stars means more confidence in the selection on a points-per-dollar basis.

Important note, every day the goal of this post is not to give you a copy-and-paste lineup. Instead, each selection is given while highlighting the factors you need to consider when building a customized lineup for yourself. If you want to see an example lineup, you can find it on the final slide of the post, but I suggest you adjust your lineup to fit your personal taste.
To keep up with all of FanSided’s DFS NBA coverage head over to the fantasy basketball hub where each day you can find a post like this tailored for DraftKings as well as one specifically designed for usage on FanDuel. Let’s take a look at your best options for both studs and value players at each position.
High Salary PG
Lonzo Ball, LAL at DET ($7,800): Ball finished with 40 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Saturday, putting himself over value for the fifth time in six games. He needs 35.9 fantasy points to reach value on Monday. He finally scored in double figures for the first time in seven games against the Grizzlies, but he typically does his damage with rebounds and assists. The Pistons are sixth against point guards in their last 15 games, but Ball’s ability to contribute in all categories make him a worthwhile play on a slow night of action. ****
Terry Rozier, BOS at PHO ($7,600): Rozier had 57.25 fantasy points against the Kings on Sunday. He should be in for another easy night on Monday as the Suns present the worst defense in the league. Road legs are about the only issue for the Celtics in this one, but that shouldn’t be enough to hold them back against a poor Phoenix squad. He needs 35 fantasy points to reach value on Monday and should give you at least 40 fantasy points in this one. *****
Jeff Teague, MIN vs MEM ($6,600): Teague has been miserable in his last two games. He had 20.5 fantasy points against the Knicks and was all the way down to 9.3 fantasy points against the Sixers. Prior to that, he had been over value in six of his last seven. Given the opponent on Monday, a bounce back performance should be in the cards for Teague. His recent games don’t inspire confidence, but it seems impossible to struggle against the Grizzlies right now. ***
High Value PG
Andrew Harrison, MEM at MIN ($5,200): Harrison bounced back from his 4.75 fantasy point performance against the Sixers with 40 fantasy points against the Lakers. With Tyreke Evans unlikely to play again, Harrison should continue to get big minutes and usage at the point guard position. The Timberwolves are mixed bag on a night-to-night basis, but one thing that has remained consistent is their inability to defend. Harrison should push 30 fantasy points on Monday. ***
Ish Smith, DET vs LAL ($5,000): Reggie Jackson is back, but Smith continues to see the bulk of the minutes. He had 25.75 fantasy points against the Bulls on Saturday and needs 23 fantasy points to reach value on Monday. The Lakers are 22nd against point guards in their last 15 games. Smith typically scores over double-digits off the bench and ups his value with his ability to rebound and collect assists. Until Jackson returns to form, which may not happen until next season, Smith is a solid value bet. ***
Trey Burke, NY at CHA ($4,800): Burke had 31 fantasy points against the Wizards on Sunday. Emmanuel Mudiay posted a big game alongside Burke, but Mudiay can’t be relied upon to produce at the same level every night. Meanwhile, Burke has been consistent during his Knicks tenure. The Hornets are 16th against the position in their last 15 games. Burke should give you at least 25 fantasy points on Monday. ***
High Salary SG
Jamal Murray, DEN at PHI ($7,300): Murray has been excellent in recent contests, going over value in seven of his last eight games. He’s coming off a 44.5 fantasy point performance against the Wizards on Friday. The Sixers have been rolling lately and the Nuggets are always questionable on the road, but this should be a close contest with the star players delivering on both sides. Murray will certainly need to have a strong game if the Nuggets have any chance. It’s a tough matchup, but trust the process opponent. ***
Josh Jackson, PHO vs BOS ($6,700): If Devin Booker plays, even coming off the injury, take him. He seems to thrive against the Celtics and he always thrives when there is nothing on the line. But if Booker is out once again, Jackson will be the top scorer on a weak Suns squad. He had 33.5 fantasy points against the Magic on Saturday and has been over 30 fantasy points in four straight. He needs 29.8 fantasy points to reach value on Monday. Elfrid Payton can’t be counted on like he was against the Magic and Jackson should continue his strong play. ****
Andrew Wiggins, MIN vs MEM ($6,500): Wiggins was over 30 fantasy points against again on Saturday, finishing with 31.5 fantasy points against the Sixers. You know what you’re getting out of Wiggins at this point. He’s going to score and rebound enough to give you at least 30 fantasy points and there’s always a chance his scoring or rebounding numbers climb high enough to give you 40 fantasy points. He’s been as consistent as they come since Jimmy Butler’s injury and Monday should be no different. ****
High Value SG
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, LAL at DET ($6,200): Caldwell-Pope had 25.5 fantasy points when he played his former team way back in October. He’s become a better player since then and the Pistons have been an inconsistent mess all season. He needs 27.5 fantasy points to reach value on Monday and had 28.75 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on Saturday. He’s been a reliable option since February and should have something extra in the tank in his return to Detroit. ****
Luke Kennard, DET vs LAL ($4,500): Kennard continues to get consistent playing time and keeps going over value. He had 29.8 fantasy points against the Bulls on Saturday and has been over value in three straight. He’s playing around 30 minutes a game right now, which is plenty of time for him to produce the 20 fantasy points he needs to reach value. He’s turning into a reliable low cost option down the stretch. ***
Marco Belinelli, PHI vs DEN ($3,800): Belinelli is outplaying J.J. Redick right now largely because the Sixers are blowing out opponents. If you think the Nuggets game will be close, and I’m in that camp, you might find Redick to be the better option. But Belinelli is a cheaper option who should still get enough playing time to produce a solid game. He’s been over 20 fantasy points in his last four games, but is a risk if the game is competitive. ***
High Salary SF
Ben Simmons, PHI vs DEN ($8,800): Simmons had 56 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Saturday, collecting his tenth career triple-double. He’s been over value in six of his last seven and needs 40.5 fantasy points to reach value on Monday. He’s played great lately and the Nuggets are a great matchup given their typical play on the road. Another triple-double is not out of the question, but even if he falls short, he should post enough rebounds and assists to put himself over 40 fantasy points. ****
Kyle Kuzma, LAL at DET ($7,900): It looks like Brandon Ingram won’t be able to play on Monday, which means Kuzma will continue to start. He’s coming off a strong 48.5 fantasy point effort against the Grizzlies,a though it seems like everyone is putting up big numbers against the Grizzlies nowadays. He needs 31.1 fantasy points to reach value on Monday. That should be no problem for the Lakers forward given his recent play. ****
Jayson Tatum, BOS at PHO ($6,800): It was a down night for Tatum against the Kings, largely due to the return of Jaylen Brown. With Brown back in the fold and Marcus Morris potentially playing as well, Tatum is a slight risk at this salary. A player like Will Barton might be a safer bet, especially with Gary Harris out of the lineup. But the matchup is fantastic for Tatum and he should do enough to at least get you value with the possibility of a big scoring game given the Suns defense. ****
High Value SF
Robert Covington, PHI vs DEN ($5,800): Covington played 28 minutes against the Timberwolves on Saturday, finishing with 34 fantasy points. He’s been up-and-down in recent games largely due to a lack of playing time. He needs 26.1 fantasy points to reach value on Monday. Everyone on the Sixers feels like a risk right now, but of their young guys, Covington has the lowest salary and is logging enough minutes to be production. He’ll likely play 30-plus minutes in this one, putting himself around 30 fantasy points. ***
Nemanja Bjelica, MIN vs MEM ($5,800): Bjelica has been up-and-down in recent games. He had 34.5 fantasy points against the Knicks on Friday, but was down to 10 fantasy points against the Sixers on Saturday. Monday should be an up game for him given the opponent. The Grizzlies are last against small forwards in their last 15 games. Bjelica remains a strong play as the Timberwolves small forward as he gets plenty of playing time to contribute. Expect a bounce back performance given how everyone is dominating the Grizzlies. ****
Marvin Williams, CHA vs NY ($4,100): Williams has been inconsistent this season, hitting value in just 54 percent of games. But he’s hot right now following his 29.5 fantasy point effort against the Grizzlies and 23.25 fantasy point game against the Mavericks. He had 20.25 fantasy points against the Knicks on Mar. 17 and needs 18.5 fantasy points to reach value on Monday. Expect him around 20 fantasy points in this one. ***
High Salary PF
Blake Griffin, DET vs LAL ($9,200): After three straight games of 50-plus fantasy points, Griffin was down to 27.5 fantasy points against the Bulls. He played only 26 minutes in that game, which could explain his dip in production. His minutes should be back up in this one and if recent play is any indication, he should give you at least 40 fantasy points. He’s historically done well against the Lakers, averaging 1.35 FPPM in his last five games. ****
Julius Randle, LAL at DET ($7,900): Randle was a value miss on Saturday against the Grizzlies, finishing with 35.15 fantasy points. His salary has dropped as a result and he needs 36 fantasy points to reach value against the Pistons on Monday. He had 30.75 fantasy points in just 17 minutes against the Pistons way back in October. There’s not much to take from that game, but it does show the kind of damage he can do in limited minutes. He’s been good more often than not as a starter and should push 40 fantasy points on Monday. ****
Al Horford, BOS at PHO ($6,300): Horford had 34.25 fantasy points against the Kings on Sunday. Jaylen Brown returned to the lineup, but with Marcus Morris out, Horford’s role became even more important. If Morris is out once again, that should mean good things for Horford’s value. The best thing for Horford’s value is the fact that the Celtics are playing the Suns. It should be a big night for multiple players on Boston and Horford has the ability to put up solid numbers in all categories. ***
High Value PF
Dario Saric, PHI vs DEN ($5,900): Saric has been right around value in his last three games despite playing less than 25 minutes in each contest. Historically, he’s done great against the Nuggets. He had 42.75 fantasy points against them on Dec. 30 and is averaging 35.8 fantasy points in three career games against Denver. Things are shaping up for Saric to have another big game, although that won’t be possible if he doesn’t play enough minutes. Hope this game is competitive and expect Saric to deliver. ****
JaMychal Green, MEM at MIN ($5,900): After missing value in two straight, Green bounced back with 43.5 fantasy points against the Lakers. He had 29.75 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Dec. 4. That number would put him just over over on Monday. As long as he plays around 30 minutes, he should be able to at least hit value. The Timberwolves defense isn’t great, but they are second against small forwards in their last 15 games. ***
Frank Kaminsky, CHA vs NY ($4,400): Kaminsky has been over 20 fantasy points in his last three games. He needs exactly 20 fantasy points to reach value on Monday. He’s been hit-and-miss against the Knicks this season, posting 16.5 fantasy points on Mar. 17, but 38.25 fantasy points on Dec. 18. He has a hot hand right now and the Knicks are on a back-to-back. Plus, they are the Knicks. Expect Kaminsky around value. ***
High Salary C
Andre Drummond, DET vs LAL ($9,700): Drummond followed up his 47.5 fantasy point effort against the Rockets with 63.5 fantasy points against the Bulls on Saturday. Blake Griffin’s limited playing time certainly benefitting Drummond’s production in that one. The Lakers are 22nd against centers in their last 15 games. He’s been up-and-down in recent games, but the matchup is good. He’s typically good for at least a double-double, it’s just a matter of how high those points and rebounds will climb. ***
Joel Embiid, PHI vs DEN ($9,400): Embiid has been under 40 fantasy points in three straight contests. Not good for a guy who has needed at least 45 fantasy points to reach value during those games. But it’s tough to produce 40-plus fantasy points in less than 25 minutes. Embiid should see an increase in playing time on Monday as the Nuggets will make things competitive, but if it’s another blowout, the Sixers have made no secret about their desire to spread the wealth up-and-down their roster. ***
Dwight Howard, CHA vs NY ($8,700): Howard is a rebounding machine right now, collecting 20-plus rebounds in each of his last two games. He had 69.5 fantasy points against the Nets and followed that up with 52.75 fantasy points against the Mavericks. The Knicks are 25th against centers in their last 15 games and on a back-to-back. He needs 41 fantasy points to reach value on Monday. He’s been inconsistent, but with nothing to play for, Howard can shine. ****
High Value C
Enes Kanter, NY at CHA ($6,100): Kanter had 29.75 fantasy points against the Wizards on Sunday, collecting another double-double. Most importantly, he played 27 minutes. As long as he’s playing 25-plus minutes, he’s going to get you at least a double-double. He had 23.75 fantasy points in 15 minutes against the Hornets on Mar. 17. His minutes could drop at any moment, but they appear to safe for the time being and he should be taken as a result. ****
Greg Monroe, BOS at PHO ($5,500): Monroe was down to 16 fantasy points against the Kings on Sunday. His scoring numbers were down, but that can’t be counted on again, especially against a matchup like the Suns. Chalk up Sunday to just an off night and expect him to bounce back against a great matchup. He needs 25 fantasy points to reach value on Monday. He should be back up to that number in this one. ***
Alex Len, PHO vs BOS ($4,700): With Tyson Chandler down for the season, Len should continue to log big minutes at center. He’s played 25-plus minutes in his last three games, going over 30 fantasy points in two of those contests. He needs 22.1 fantasy points to reach value on Monday. The Suns frontcourt rotation has been all over the play all season, so there is some concern that his minutes could fall off, but especially with Len likely leaving this summer, but the Suns are running out of options. ***

Explanation of the stars after each pick: Each one of my picks is ranked on a scale of one to five stars. Picks that I give five stars (∗∗∗∗∗) are players that you almost have to own and I have no reservations about owning at their price. Players that get four stars (∗∗∗∗) are players that I think are strong picks to build your roster around. Three-star players (∗∗∗) are middle-of-the-road solid picks who are fairly reliable to produce a good game. Picks receiving two stars (∗∗) are high-risk, high-reward players who do offer enough upside to be in my picks, but also have a significant risk factor that makes them dangerous. One star (∗) players are picks that are the best option around that price point, but who I don’t think are great options. I would take any one-star player over any option not in my picks, but they aren’t picks to build your roster around.
