High Value SG

Eric Gordon, HOU vs CHI ($5,600): James Harden is scheduled to rest which means Gordon will start alongside Chris Paul. If by chance Paul is out, Gordon will be the top option in Houston and the only other guard capable of running the Rockets offense. He’s been great as a starter these last three games, going over 30 fantasy points in each contest. Given the matchup and the fact that he’s starting again, expect him over 30 fantasy points once more. ****

Rodney Hood, CLE at MIA ($4,700): Hood had 30.1 fantasy points against the Nets on Sunday. He’s been an inconsistent player for the Cavaliers since the trade, and really, he’s been an inconsistent player his whole career. But he has typically found success against the Heat. He’s averaging 26.6 fantasy points in his last three games against Miami. He needs 19 fantasy points to reach value on Tuesday. He’s inconsistencies make him a risk, but things look good on Tuesday. **

Wayne Ellington, MIA vs CLE ($4,500): Ellington had 17.7 fantasy points against the Pacers on Sunday. You typically know what you’re getting from Ellington. He gets his looks from three, it’s just a matter of those shots falling. They didn’t fall against the Pacers and he wasn’t able to pick up rebounds, but he’s a reliable low cost option, especially against a defense as bad as Cleveland. ***
