2018 NFL Mock Draft: Sam Darnold goes to Browns

The Miami Dolphins will be looking to get back to the playoffs this season, as they fell short in 2017, just one year after making it as a Wild Card. The big blow to that team came during the summer, when quarterback Ryan Tannehill blew out his knee again. That led the team to go out and find his replacement, who just happened to be Jay Cutler, who was planning on spending the 2017 campaign in the broadcast booth.
With that debacle in the rearview mirror, the Dolphins can look to becoming a legitimate team in the AFC once again. Tannehill should be healthy in 2018, and running back Kenyon Drake really turned heads once the team traded away Jay Ajayi. On defense, the team did lose Ndamukong Suh this offseason, as they look to shed the kind of negativity he tends to bring to a locker room.
The Dolphins are about changing their culture, and drafting Roquan Smith could go a long way in doing just that. Not only is he a tremendous football player, but he is the kind of person you can build you defense around. It is no secret that the Dolphins need help at the linebacker position, and Smith is someone you can plug into the middle of your defense, and see him go to Pro Bowl after Pro Bowl.
