The New Orleans Saints used a different tactic to make it to the playoffs last season, relying on a stellar rushing attack and an improved defense. Usually, the Saints rely on Drew Brees to throw them to victories, but in 2017, the running back tandem of Mark Ingram and Alvin Kamara took the league by storm. In addition, first round cornerback Marshon Lattimore proved to be a beast, and should be an All-Pro for years to come.

Looking at their needs for next season, the Saints need to get better along the offensive line. One player they should look to bring in is Isaiah Wynn, who has the versatility to play all over the line. He is going to be a solid pro no matter if he plays guard or tackle, and on a Saints team lacking depth up front on offense, he would be a solid addition even in year one.

The Saints won only seven games in each of the last three seasons, so their run to the playoffs in 2017 really saved head coach Sean Payton’s job. This team is built to be solid once again in 2018, and they will need to be sharp, as the division saw three teams go to the playoffs last season. Brees signed a new two-year deal this offseason, and with the right pieces in place, he could be in the mix for his second Super Bowl ring in 2018.
