Welcome to the FantasyCPR soccer column for FanDuel EPL DFS action! We have all the best tips and picks for you to cash on FanDuel EPL this week!

The pointless international friendlies are over and we can get back to the real stuff of the Premier League as we hit the last two months of the season. This is gameweek 32 and the year has flown by. There is a seven game slate for us this week giving us plenty of options and likely variance to help us cash.

Two weeks ago we had a bumper week with Mohamed Salah racking up 100 FanDuel points to lead all those lines into the green. The last-minute swap to Glen Johnson in DEF helped pivot from Mane to Salah which was a crucial last second change.

There are two big sides on the slate this week with both Manchester clubs in good spots ahead of the Manchester derby next week. The key this week is building so good pieces around a Man City core.

I break down this column into three categories: Fixtures are those you need to build your lineups around. Flyers are the gambles and the punts; cheaper or lesser known players in great positions for a break out game. Fades are those you need to avoid; I think who you choose to fade in soccer DFS is more important than in any other DFS sport.

I’ll be on Twitter @davidgatesports to chat through lineups changes and team sheet surprises from 9:00am ET.

FanDuel EPL Fixtures

There has been no reason to fade Manchester City attackers all season. They have been relentless as they’ve strolled to a Premier League title. You may think they may ease off this weekend with a huge Champions League quarter-final coming up in midweek. However a win on Saturday and a victory at Old Trafford next weekend will see them win the title in their rivals stadium. You can bet all your money the players are dreaming of that.

The main point of interest is whether or not Sergio Aguero (11500) will be fit to play. The indication is that he won’t be quite ready and will be saved for the game against Liverpool in the UCL. That makes Gabriel Jesus (10500) the best FWD on the slate, especially after scoring for Brazil this week.

Kevin de Bruyne (11000) is of course the leading MID option but all of the Man City midfielders are in play. If you are looking for a reason to lean one way or another then bear in mind Raheem Sterling (9500) was the only City player to get on the score sheet when the two sides met in August.

Ahmed Hegazi (6500) is one of the safest defenders in FanDuel EPL and is almost a weekly lock for 3x value. This week is a great matchup for him against Burnley. He is my top DEF play of the week.

If you are looking to lock a keeper in this week then David de Gea (5000) is at a nice price in a game where he should keep a clean sheet.

FanDuel EPL Flyers

Choosing which sides you pair with a Man City stack is going to be crucial to cashing this week. The bookies have Watford v Bournemouth as the most likely game with over 2.5 goals outside of City and United. While I agree with that prediction I’m not sure that translates to FanDuel very well. Both those sides have a little price bump against each other making it hard to stack top City players with the good ones from this game.

Instead I am going with the West Ham v Southampton match with both sides desperate for a victory on the big Olympic Stadium pitch. These two played out a 5 goal game in August and are a sneaky bet to put alongside City in GPPs this week.  Marko Arnautovic (9500) is always on my radar under $10k. I love the MID pairing of Dusan Tadic (6500) and James Ward-Prowse (7000) this week who both seem under priced to me.

Looking at other players who will bring good value to your line then Christopher Lowe (4500) is at a bargain price and should start and be goof for at least 3x value. If you are looking for the best $4.5k keeper then Kasper Schmeichel (4500) is my guy. Brighton don’t score many and he is the second most talented keeper on this roster.

FanDuel EPL Fades

The highest priced option on the slate this week is Alexis Sanchez (12500). Sorry, what? The forward has looked out of sorts and unhappy since his January move to Old Trafford. He has one goal and no assists since moving and has only had more than one shot on goal in only one game. Eventually he’ll have a great day and grab 50 FanDuel points but I am going to keep fading him at these prices until I see improvement

I am fading the rest of the Man Utd expected starters too with Lukaku (11000) and Lingard (9500) over priced for me. However I do like either Marcus Rashford (8000) or Paul Pogba (9000) if either are brought back into the side.

More from FanSided

Because stacking Man City is almost a must in cash this week I think you can fade Jamie Vardy (10000) and Riyad Mahrez (11500) from those lineups. They are in a decent spot away to Brighton & Hove Albion but I see them as GPP only options this week.

FanDuel EPL: Lineup

Note: this is a sample lineup and are not optimized. The only guarantee I can give you is that I will playing it too. I will also have some lines that are not here. Best thing is to take some of these picks and build your own lineup – especially in GPP – as lineup sharing only reduces the amount you can win.

Sample Lineup:

FWD: Jesus – Man City

FWD: Arnautovic – West Ham

MID: Sterling – Man City

MlD: Sane – Man City

MID: Ward-Prowse – Southampton

DEF: Lowe – Huddersfield

DEF: Pied – Southampton

GK: de Gea – Man Utd
