The Oklahoma City Thunder social media team is coming in flying off the top rope for the win.

You didn’t know that you needed to see Russell Westbrook as Prince until now. The Thunder have recreated some classic album covers and they’re amazing.

Just ahead of their crucial game against the San Antonio Spurs, the Oklahoma City Thunder just uploaded a few creative recreations of some classic album covers on the team’s Instagram account.

The covers start out with Paul George as Chance the Rapper on the Coloring Book album turning Chance’s signature “3” hat into PG’s 13. Things move down south with Andre Roberson, Terrance Ferguson and Jerami Grant on the recreation of Migos’ Culture album.

The Fugees changed the hip-hop world with “The Score” and the Thunder changed the NBA landscape with what they’re calling “The Core” of Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook and George.

Things get absolutely hilarious with Steven Adams doubling as Michael Jackson on the Thriller cover followed by Raymond Felton and Corey Brewer teaming up for Stankonia.

Last, but certainly not least, is Russ and the Revolution’s Purple Rain. What makes this final cover so great is that it ostensibly capture’s Westbrook’s visual identity more than any of the other covers.

The Thunder are currently fourth in the Western Conference and only sit a mere game above the Spurs. Suffice to say, tonight’s game is huge for both clubs as they jockey for an opportunity to host a first-round series.
