Will Target be opening their doors on Easter Sunday?

When it comes to the openings and closings of popular retail outlets on holidays, it can vary greatly. Over the years, stores have consistently changed up when they’re going to be open and that has created for some confusion. Target is a place that people like to frequent every day of the year.

On Sunday, Easter takes place and that’s when people tend to have big meals or look for eggs in the backyard, front yard or wherever the bunny decided to leave them. Nonetheless, some people spend the day out as well and that means some stores could be open while others could be closed.

While some of the big retail giants are going to open their doors to consumers, Target will not be one of them. They will be open on Good Friday, but the store will be closed on Easter, and will resume regular business hours on the following Monday.

Walmart will be open for those looking to shop, but Target is choosing not to open for business. Easter is a holiday that has long been observed by many stores, and Target is choosing to take the day off. This allows for employees to spend time with their families.

However, people that find themselves stuck will have a much easier time than say if it was Christmas, when virtually every store is closed. Easter offers a little more flexibility and options to choose from. Therefore last minute items should be easily accessible depending upon the stores that are open near your area of residence.

Still, people love Target and they won’t be able to get their fill on Sunday. They’ll have to wait until the start of business on Monday, at the earliest to visit their favorite store.
