Sample Lineup for Early Slate

P- Jacob DeGrom

C/1B – James McCann

2B – Scooter Gennett

3B – Anthony Rendon

SS – Ahmed Rosario

OF – Gregory Polanco, Bryce Harper, Adam Eaton

Utility – Joey Votto

A well-placed punt in the catcher spot and the fact Polanco is cheaper than he should be lets us load up with DeGrom, Votto, and Harper. Eaton and Rendon are excellent complimentary players and this lineup should be enough to carry into the money.

C/1B – Brandon Belt

2B – Yangervis Solarte

3B – Jake Lamb

SS – Carlos Correa

OF – Hunter Renfroe, Yasiel Puig, George Springer

Utility – Rhys Hoskins

As much fun as it is to play with the entire slate at your disposal, it does represent a challenge. There’s so many games, you feel like you can leave something out by trying to spread yourself too thin. I wouldn’t be betting a ton of money on this slate, in total honesty. Sometimes it’s best to be able to focus your attention on a smaller section of games.

OF – Hunter Renfroe, A.J. Pollock, and Rhys Hoskins

Utility- Manny Machado

As you can see, I’m all-in on Renfroe, Hoskins and Darvish. I just feel like it’s hard to get away from those three players. Darvish especially appears to be the safest pitcher on the board and he’s not over $10,000. That won’t happen very often as we go through the season.
