Ranking Josh Allen’s best fits in NFL Draft
3. New York Giants
This is very much contingent on whether Odell Beckham Jr. will be with this team in the long term. If so, the Giants could be even higher on this list.
The Giants feel like a great spot for Allen. Eli Manning will be starting for the next year or two, meaning Allen can wait and learn behind the two-time Super Bowl champion. There are no doubts on that being a great situation.
Odell and Sterling Shepard both posses the ability to go deep at a high level. It feels like all the Giants have run the last two years have been slants and that is well reflecting in both of their route trees. However, we also see that they both have success when they go deep. New head coach Pat Shurmur will know exactly how to maximize the abilities of both receivers, especially in the offense that best suits whoever is playing quarterback.
With the Giants finally addressing their offensive line by signing Nate Solder, Allen won’t be scrambling for his life the whole time either. The Giants roster could look vastly different by the time Allen gets to start, which is the reason they are placed in the middle of this list.
