The Jacksonville Jaguars are getting new uniforms this season, and if this leak is accurate, they look much better than the look of the Tennessee Titans.

On Monday night, the new uniforms of the Tennessee Titans appear to have leaked out, and the result was unfortunate. Tennessee didn’t do much to improve upon its look, with sharp-edged numbers and odd font making the whole look clunky.

However, the Jacksonville Jaguars seem to be getting a nice upgrade after years of playing with a unique, albeit ugly two-tone helmet. According to this leak from the Twitter handle @JacksonvilleJagsNow, the Jaguars are going with an all-black helmet, similar to what they had during the days of David Garrard and Maurice Jones-Drew.

Jacksonville is also going with three uniforms, which will be all black at home, all white on the road and a teal alternate that might divide some of the quality. All that said, it is certainly much better than the current kit, which is busy and at the same time, somewhat boring.

Frankly, this writer would argue that the team should have stayed with its original look from 1995, when Mark Brunell, Jimmy Smith and Keenan McCardell were the driving force behind becoming a contender. This new set of uniforms isn’t bad, and if nothing else, it’s an obvious upgrade from the nonsense being trotted out there in recent campaigns. The only change they should make is going to white pants with the black tops, but I digress.

What do you think of the new uniforms, provided the leak is accurate? Let us know in the comments!
