Real Madrid beat Juventus 3-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday, April 3. Here are all the highlights from the match.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice, including a breathtaking overhead kick in the second half, and added an assist as Real Madrid thrashed Juventus in the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal tie in Turin on Tuesday.

Ronaldo’s first came in the third minute, following nice interplay between Marcelo and Isco down the left, which Ronaldo converted with an intelligent poked finish at the near post. Other than that, however, Real were relatively quiet in the first half.

Paolo Dybala almost equalized in the sixth minute after a nice one-two with Sami Khedira, but Sergio Ramos denied him with an excellent covering tackle, and Keylor Navas saved Real in the 23rd minute with a stunning stop from Gonzalo Higuain.

Juve began the second half as they had ended the first, dominating the ball and probing what looked a beatable Real back line. Dybala had a free-kick deflected just wide in the 56th minute after being fouled by Ramos, as the home side turned up the pressure.

But Ronaldo killed the game in the 64th minute with one of the goals of the season. After a mix-up between Gianluigi Buffon and Giorgio Chiellini allowed Real in behind the Juve defense, they recycled possession until crossing toward Ronaldo, who converted with a stunning overhead kick.

To make matters worse for Juve, Dybala was sent off for a second yellow card for kicking Dani Carvajal minutes after the second goal. He was slightly unlucky, perhaps, since he seemed to be looking at the ball, but his boot was high and there was clear contact.

From there, without their most dangerous attacking player, Juve wilted, and Real padded their lead in the 72nd minute. This time, Ronaldo was the provider, playing in Marcelo, who snuck around Buffon before finishing.
