Jason Day would look pretty good in a green jacket, now wouldn’t he? Will the popular Australian golfer be playing in the 2018 Masters Tournament?

Somebody has to win the Masters Tournament this year, right? Might as well be somebody that hasn’t won it before, and certainly didn’t win it last year. To be fair, it’s very hard to repeat as Masters champion. Sergio Garcia isn’t Tiger Woods obviously. So what about Jason Day winning the Masters?

Will he even be at Augusta? Yes, Day will be taking part in the Masters this week. He will be in a high-profile grouping on both Thursday and Friday. He, 2012 and 2014 Masters Champion Bubba Watson and Henrik Stenson will be teeing off in round one on Thursday at 11:04 a.m. ET. The trio will take to the tee box at 1:49 p.m. ET on Friday for Round 2.

Day might have won the 2015 PGA Championship, but he has never taken home a green jacket at Augusta. His best finish to date at The Masters came back in 2011 when he came in second place to Charl Schwartzel of South Africa.

Day is coming off a recent win in the early part of the 2018 PGA season. He won the Farmers Insurance Open over Sweden’s Alexander Noren and United States’ Ryan Palmer in a playoff back in January. Having an early season already under his belt is a good sign for a guy like Day heading into the Masters.

Will Day do enough in four days to capture his first green jacket? Is he ready to take on the likes of Tiger, Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson in Augusta. Be sure to not miss a second of the 2018 Masters Tournament. Remember, it’s not spring time until the Masters is happening at Augusta National.
