Fourth Round

Linebacker might be even bigger of a need for the Rams after they traded former first-round pick Alec Ogletree to the New York Giants. Though the Rams could go with one in the first two rounds, they could end up with Jerome Baker out of Ohio State at No. 111 in the fourth round.

Baker is 6-foot-1, 229 rounds with 31 1/2 inch arms and 10 3/8 inch hands. He ran a 4.53 in the 40-yard dash and put up 22 reps on the bench press. In three years with the Buckeyes, Baker had 159 total tackles (90 solo, 69 assists), 17.5 for a loss of yardage, 7.0 quarterback sacks, four pass breakups, three forced fumbles, two interceptions and a forced fumble.

Look for the Rams to double-down with some Buckeyes with their fourth-round selections. Adding Baker helps solidify a glaring need at linebacker. Taking Jalyn Holmes at No. 135 to provide pressure out on the edge could be the pick here for Los Angeles.

Holmes is 6-foot-5, 283 pounds with 34-inch arms and 10-inch hands. He ran a 4.82 in the 40-yard dash at the combine. He put up 25 reps at 225 in the bench press in Indianapolis. In four years in Columbus, Holmes had 85 total tackles (41 solo, 44 assists), 15.0 for a loss of yardage, 5.0 quarterback sacks, four passes defended, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
