Here’s a look at all the big debuts and returns from the Monday Night RAW after WrestleMania.

The Monday Night RAW after WrestleMania has become one of the most must-see events on the WWE calendar, and there certainly was no shortage of surprises this time around.

While there was plenty of action from superstars already on the roster, including Ronda Rousey following up her big debut by attacking Stephanie McMahon, Paige making her emotional and official in-ring retirement announcement, Braun Strowman and Nicholas relinquishing the RAW Tag Team Championship and Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn battling it out for a spot on the RAW roster, one of the big attractions of this episode was waiting to see the surprise appearances.

Perhaps it’s someone from NXT or someone that’s been injured or someone returning to the company. This RAW had all of it. So let’s take a look at all the surprise returns and debuts from Monday night.

Following the Rousey-Stephanie opener, the women’s division remained the focus as new RAW Women’s Champion Nia Jax got set to take on Alexa Bliss and Mickie James in tag team action. Needing a partner (and no, she didn’t go into the crowd to get one), the champion announced the debut of former NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon, who came to a huge ovation and looked great, winning the match for her team after hitting the Eclipse on Alexa Bliss.

The WWE Universe didn’t have to wait long for the next NXT call-up, as No Way Jose made his RAW debut. Following an Adam Rose-like party to the ring, he made quick work of some jobber and partied back out.

New Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins was out at the top of the hour, and after Finn Balor joined him in the ring to be the first to challenge him for the title, The Miz and The Miztourage came out and a 3-on-2 handicap match seemed to be set until a returning Jeff Hardy, who’s been out of action for months, showed up to even the odds. The trio would get the victory later on to close out the night.

Elias, who was embarrassed last night at WrestleMania by John Cena, wouldn’t get much further in his performance on Monday night (even if the chants from the New Orleans crowd were amazing), and he was interrupted this time around by Bobby Lashley, who hasn’t been in a WWE ring in more than a decade. Still looking just as big (and as young for that matter) as he did back then, Lashley hit the ring and destroyed Elias with an impressive show of power.

A short time later, Heath Slater was out to talk about his kids and how much he needed his job and then invited any tag team to come down and take on him and Rhyno. In yet another debut from NXT, The Authors of Pain answered the call and put a beating on the former SmackDown Tag Team Champions. However, it looks like they may not be requiring the services of Paul Ellering much longer.

Roman Reigns made his way to the ring leading into the final hour of the show and discussed his match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, Lesnar re-signing with the company and having to face him again at the Greatest Royal Rumble event in a few weeks in Saudi Arabia. Just as it seemed he was finishing up, a returning Samoa Joe hit the ramp and cut a phenomenal promo on Reigns — and then told him that after Lesnar was done with him, he’d be waiting for him at Backlash.

As usual, the Monday Night RAW after WrestleMania did not disappoint. And with the Superstar Shake-Up coming next week, things are only going to get more interesting.
