Here’s how you can watch New Girl season 7 premiere live online or the old-fashioned way right on your television.

New Girl will see its season 7 premiere air tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET on FOX. The Zooey Deschanel led comedy sitcom will see eight episodes in what is being called its final season. You can catch the season 7 premiere right from your the comfort of your laptop with FOX’s live stream. New Girl first debuted on FOX back in Sept. 2011 to absolutely stellar ratings, its series premiere having an audience of 10.28 million viewers, according to TVByTheNumbers. The show averaged 8.22 million viewers overall for its inaugural season.

Deschanel who plays lead character Jess Day told The Star Tribune, that being apart of the series has been kind of like high school, but longer.

"“It’s been like high school, but longer, all my professional experiences before this one had been limited to the run of a movie. I’ve gotten to work with all of these people through so many life changes.”"

HelloGiggles, which was created by Deschanel (along with producer Sophia Rivka Rossi and writer Molly McAleer), recently examined why character Jess Day is wearing a nose ring for the final season.

"Picking up approximately three years later, Jess and Nick return from a European book tour; Schmidt and Cece celebrate their daughter’s birthday with a party, where Jess runs into her ex; Winston and Aly try to pick a pregnancy photo."

There’s been speculation that Jess and Nick who first met on the show’s very first episode, will finally get married in season 7. Much of it was fueled by a certain Instgram photo posted by actor Jake Johnson (Nick Miller) labeled #newgirlfinale, with Jess wearing white. Leading to obvious wedding connections for the finale.
