15. Zack Stortini

Zack Stortini looks like a caricature drawing of Zack Stortini.

This longtime Flinstones regular left Fred at the quarry to join the National Hockey League.

The 32-year-old Stortini played a few seasons with the Edmonton Oilers after being selected in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft before spending the bulk of his career bouncing around the AHL, now with the Charlotte Checkers.

Known for being an enforcer, Stortini is a tough guy with a tough look and likely would have played a good deal more NHL games if he wasn’t coming up around the same time the NHL was phasing out the position. When he was called up from the AHL, he was leading that league in penalty minutes.

Despite this, he has a great hockey smile. Stortini lost one of his teeth on the playground as a child, when an errant puck introduced itself to his mouth. He lost the other in junior hockey off a high stick.
