When the New York Jets traded up to the No. 3 pick, they made it pretty obvious that they were going to get a quarterback. While head coach Todd Bowles has said they do not know who they will get, there has to be a name at the top of their list. Josh Rosen is one of the best quarterback prospects there is in this draft class, and he should not fall outside of the top five this April.

With the Jets, Rosen would be given the opportunity to start right away. Currently, New York has Teddy Bridgewater and Josh McCown manning the position, so there is no long-term solution at play in the organization. If he did not win the job out of camp, he would likely be in the starting lineup no later than Week 7, as this organization need to finally draft someone who can be their franchise quarterback.

Rosen has had his knocks this draft season, as people keep trying to run him through the mud. Still, he has as much talent as any other player in his draft class, and is going to be a solid player in the NFL if he can stay healthy. The Jets are comfortable going into next season with McCown under center, but whoever they pick at No. 3, better be ready to contribute to this team in year one for sure.
