2. Newcastle get shock win over Arsenal

On Sunday, Arsenal travel to St. James’ Park to play Newcastle in what should be an entertaining contest. Arsenal are still involved in the Europa League and could be a bit tired from their travels to and from Russia.

Newcastle have won three games on the trot and in doing so have propelled themselves into the top half of the table. The Magpies are purely playing for pride right now, as they can’t catch a European spot but they still seem to be very motivated.

Their win over Leicester at the King Power last week showed how determined they are and their confidence should make this a tough game for Arsenal.

Arsenal are only three points back from Chelsea and Arsene Wenger will want his team to try and steal fifth place from their London rivals. This game will be tough, though, and even more so after their Europa League match with CSKA Moscow.

Newcastle fans are some of the best in England and even when their team aren’t playing that well they still have big attendances. The extra support from the Toon Army will help Newcastle to get a shock victory over Arsenal.

Expect the Magpies to take the lead before they’re pegged back by a strike from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, only to run out 2-1 winners after a Jonjo Shelvey wonder-goal
