The No. 3 seed Philadelphia 76ers (52-30) host the No. 6 seed Miami Heat (44-38) in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals Saturday night. Here’s how to watch the game online.

The Philadelphia 76ers will host their first playoff game since the 2011-12 season Saturday night when they take on the Miami Heat at Wells Fargo Center beginning at 8 p.m. ET. The game will air on ESPN and can be streamed via the WatchESPN app.

The Sixers enter Game 1 riding a franchise-record 16-game winning streak, but they’ll be without star center Joel Embiid, who continues to recover from an orbital fracture he suffered in late March. That opens the door for Miami to pull off the Game 1 upset and wrest home-court advantage away from Philadelphia.

How the Heat defend Rookie of the Year front-runner Ben Simmons will go a long way toward deciding this game (and series). James Johnson and Justise Winslow match up well physically against Simmons, but slotting Johnson on him would likely create a mismatch elsewhere in the starting unit. If the Heat can slow Simmons down in transition and force him into being a jump-shooter, that could turn the tide in their favor.

According to OddsShark.com, the Sixers head into the game as seven-point favorites. For what it’s worth, three of the four regular-season contests between the two teams were decided by six or fewer points.

With Embiid out for Game 1, taking the Heat against the spread looks tempting, even though Philadelphia has momentum on its side.
