FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 18, 2018
Pacers-Cavaliers (Pacers Lead 1-0)
The biggest question is whether or not the Pacers can repeat their Game 1 performance. On one hand, the Cavaliers played about as poorly as they could offensively. On the other hand, there have been no signs of life from the Cavaliers defense all season. The Cavaliers have to find a way to limit Victor Oladipo, which could mean LeBron James guards him immediately. If that’s the case, other Indiana players must step up.
Thaddeus Young is a guy who I believe can have a bounce back performance while the shooting of Bojan Bogdanovic can burn the Cavaliers defense. Lance Stephenson is another guy with a history of contributing in the playoffs and utilizing him as a secondary playmaker to take pressure off of Oladipo may benefit the Pacers.
Fro Cleveland, they’ll get more out of Kevin Love. I’m almost certain of that. And if they don’t, they’ll likely find themselves down 0-2 after Wednesday night. But someone else has to contribute. That means Rodney Hood, George Hill, Jordan Clarkson, J.R. Smith, or Jeff Green have to hit shots. If Kyle Korver returns to the lineup, he could be a big boost for Cleveland.
Finding the Cleveland role player who steps up can make or break your lineup on Wednesday. They’re all available for a great price and any one of them could have a 30 fantasy point night if they’re able to knockdown shots.
