A little over two hours before it becomes officially official, it looks like the schedule for the 2018 San Francisco 49ers has somehow found its way online.

The National Football League will be releasing its 256-game slate later tonight. But that doesn’t mean there hasn’t been more leaks regarding the slates of the 32 teams since that great white started taking apart the Orca.

So for those of you interested in what the hottest team in the league at season’s end has on their plate this upcoming season, we present the following (and proceed with caution):

Head coach Kyle Shanahan, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and a club that closed the years with five consecutive wins will open 2018 in the Twin Cities against Mike Zimmer’s Minnesota Vikings. That’s a tough test for any club and it apparently will be the first of four road games in the first six weeks of the season. That includes visits to Kansas City (Week 3), Los Angeles to face the Chargers (Week 4) and a Monday night clash with the Packers at Lambeau Field (Week 6).

Via this source, the 49ers will also enjoy a nice three-game home stands from Weeks 14-16. The club will reportedly host the Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears on back-to-back-to-back Sundays. San Francisco will close the regular season with a second trip to Los Angeles, this time against the defending NFC West champion Rams.

The San Francisco 49ers have not been in the playoffs since 2013, when they reached what was their third consecutive NFC Championship Game. This is a club that many people are excited about and with good reason considering the way Shanahan’s squad closed the 2017 season. But that rumored Week 1 tilt with the defending NFC North champion Vikings on the road is a big-time acid test for this Niners’ squad.
