Washington Nationals star Bryce Harper displays Vegas Golden Knights logo on bat knob for support of his hometown team.

When Bryce Harper isn’t hitting home runs with a broken bat, he’s showing his hometown Vegas Golden Knights some love during the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Harper hasn’t shied away from supporting his Golden Knights over the Capitals when it comes to hockey allegiances. He may play for the Washington Nationals, but that is by no means a strict requirement for supporting all other local teams.

Harper and fellow BFF, Kris Bryant, are both Vegas natives, and were both seen in Golden Knights hockey sweaters this past November at one of their home games.

Heck, the man has even dropped the puck for the Golden Knights.

The man was even spotted in the crowd calm, cool and collected enjoying a Golden Knights game.

And if you ever forget where his allegiances lie, then here is a perfectly real event of Harper going heel and turning on his once not-totally-beloved Capitals.

Though it’s entirely possible for a person who has roots in one city to put their fandom in another team. Especially given that there wasn’t a team in Vegas when he was growing up, and for his adult life.

He was free to choose where his non-baseball allegiance went. But now that the Vegas does have a team, oh boy. Harper’s heart is ready to round the bases once more. It’s as if he’s shooting the puck into a net full of love.

Hell, if you cut him open and look at his heart, said heart would be black and gold. Though…one might want to refrain from doing that.

Harper is indeed bold and gold.

Now maybe if he took note of Vegas’ playoff success and applied it to the Nationals….
