A year ago, the Jacksonville Jaguars won their first division title since 1999. What can Doug Marrone’s team do for a follow-up act in 2018?

The AFC South was the only division within the conference to feature a new champion. Off a 3-13 showing the previous season, the Jacksonville Jaguars rode a big-play defensive unit and the NFL’s top-ranked ground attack into 10 wins and the club’s first division crown since 1999.

Head coach Doug Marrone’s team then made a deep playoff run. But the Jaguars fell just short of the franchise’s first ever Super Bowl appearance thanks to a 24-20 loss at Foxborough. So will 2018 be the Year of the Cat?

Here is how the complete schedule for the defending AFC South champions, week-by-week, lays out:

Week 1: at New York Giants
Week 2: vs. New England Patriots
Week 3: vs. Tennessee Titans
Week 4: vs. New York Jets
Week 5: at Kansas City Chiefs
Week 6: at Dallas Cowboys
Week 7: vs. Houston Texans
Week 8: vs. Philadelphia Eagles (London)
Week 9: BYE
Week 10: at Indianapolis Colts
Week 11: vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (SNF)
Week 12: at Buffalo Bills
Week 13: vs. Indianapolis Colts
Week 14: at Tennessee Titans (TNF)
Week 15: vs. Washington Redskins
Week 16: at Miami Dolphins (TBD)
Week 17: at Houston Texans

As usual, the Jaguars were big-time players in free agency and landed one of the big names in former Carolina Panthers’ guard Andrew Norwell. He’s a significant addition to an offensive line that began to make some strides in 2017.

Highlighting the schedule is the fact that Marrone’s team will face all three teams they battled in the playoffs this past year. Jacksonville travels to Orchard Park to face the Bills but will host both the Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots.
