FanDuel MLB Lineup and Picks for Friday, April 19
In honor of every single team being on the slate, we’ll do three sample lineups, one with each type of pitcher.
Sample Lineup 1
P – Clayton Kershaw
C/1B – Justin Bour
2B – Carlos Asauje
3B – Miguel Andujar
SS – Jedd Gyorko
OF – Aaron Judge, Harrison Bader, Austin Jackson
Utility – Michael Brantley
I love the idea of the lat night hammer falling with the best pitcher Ron the planet so I’m making my cash lineup with Kershaw. That’s going to require some wise investments elsewhere but this lineup looks like it has plenty of room to score, especially if Judge shows up for us. I also think Bour could be huge because he should be relatively low owned.
Sample Lineup 2
P- Trevor Bauer
C/1B – Yonder Alonso
2B – Isiah Kiner-Falefa
3B -Jose Ramirez
SS – Jean Segura
OF – Mookie Betts, Andrew Benintendi, Austin Jackson
Utility – Mitch Haniger
This lineup obviously is a little bit better balance on offense because we have an extra $2,500 to spend. We leave Judge off this lineup but pickup the number one and two hitters from the Boston offense, so it’s hard to complain. Jose Ramirez is underrated on a slate this size and then we just have good solid group of complimentary players after that.
Sample Lineup 3
P – Sean Newcomb
C/1B – Joey Gallo
2B – Whit Merrifield
3B – Rafael Devers
SS – Jedd Gyorko
OF – Aaron Judge, Chris Young, Shin-soo Choo
Utility – JD Martinez
Needless to say, you can afford a lot of bats with this lineup. We didn’t talk much about Coors because the forecast is pretty ugly as of now. However, it’s something we’ll keep an eye on for the slate. In honesty, this one is so big it’s likely I missed something that you’ll have questions on. Please don’t hesitate to reach out and I can help in any way possible.
Stacks To Consider – Red Sox(at Oakland), Angels(vs San Francisco), Yankees(vs Toronto), Cardinals(vs Cincinnati), and Cleveland lefties(at Baltimore)
