Adorable “Puck Girl” Keelan Moxley might as well be the Washington Capitals’ good luck charm, as the team hosted her and her family at a critical Game 5.

All young Capitals fan Keelan Moxley wanted was a warm-up puck that Brett Connolly was tossing over the glass in Game 2 of the Capitals’ series against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

But after a highly publicized video made the rounds on social media of a man sitting behind Keelan intercepting the puck intended for her twice and handing it to the boys sitting on either side of her, the Capitals wanted to do something special for Keelan and her family. After all, though Connolly was kind enough to come back three times to make sure she got her souvenir, anyone who saw the crestfallen look on her face during the incident knew that she wasn’t so sure she’d get it in the end.

Washington Capitals owner Ted Leonsis hosted Keelan and her family in his seats on the glass in Saturday’s Game 5 — but the organization had an even more special treat in store for her.

Keelan was the special recipient of a signed stick from Connolly, inscribed with a personalized message: “To Keelan. Enjoy the game. Follow your dreams.”

The message is particularly meaningful for six-year-old Keelan because she’s a hockey player herself in her local mites league. This is no doubt something she’ll display proudly in her room for years to come, if not her entire life.

As if the day wasn’t already any fan’s fever dream come to life, Keelan also got to lead the pregame “Let’s Go Caps” chant.

When asked about her enviable experience, Keelan said, “If I were a bomb I would explode!”

Same, Keelan. Same.
