Sample Lineup Number One

P – Jacob DeGrom

C/1B – Wilmer Flores

2B – Scooter Gennett

3B – Eugenio Suarez

SS – Tim Anderson

OF – Michael Brantley, Bradley Zimmer, Ronald Acuna

Utility – Joey Votto

This is a pretty balance lineup as we lock in our ace in DeGrom right off the bat. Flores and Suarez are both likely to be very popular at their price point but it’s hard to not lock them in at a combined $4,500. We actually wind up with a 3-4-5 stack for the Reds with this lineup. It wasn’t intentional but Phil Hughes is a bad pitcher and Votto especially is heating up. You could easily change Votto for Abreu and then spend the money on another position as well. I’ll snag two Indians lefties and even though Acuna does draw Aaron Nola, I’m not worried in the least. You could argue he’s more of a GPP option but we’ll see how things go through the day.

Sample Lineup Number Two

P – Miles Mikolas

C/1B – Jose Abreu

2B – Asdrubal Cabrera

3B – Kike Hernandez

SS – Manny Machado

OF – Aaron Judge, Adam Jones, Cameron Maybin

Utility – Wilmer Flores

When you spend down at pitcher, the potential for some big bats sure does open up. Having Machado and Judge in the same lineup does look like a lot of fun. The power between those two players could carry a lineup, especially if the Mets players show up. Jones and Abreu shouldn’t be any type of slouch either. This is risky for cash because you don’t truly know what you’ll get from Mikolas but the Pirates offense has started to be very inconsistent.

Stacks To Consider –  Reds(at Minnesota), Indians(vs Seattle), Yankees(at Los Angeles Angels) and the Orioles(vs Detroit)
