On Friday night, the Oklahoma City Thunder saw their season fall to the ground as they finished with a first-round loss to the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City.

It was a season that almost all of Thunder fans were expecting a magnificent season. Some even saw a championship this year, including Russell Westbrook himself. However, this wasn’t near the case, as they fall to the Utah Jazz in six games during the opening round of the playoffs.

Following the elimination loss on Friday night, Westbrook gave some interesting gestures and looks to the Jazz fans in Salt Lake City. Walking into the tunnel after the loss, Westbrook slapped at a fan’s phone as the fan appeared to have been recording him very closely. However, this wasn’t the only encounter that Westbrook had during the game with a random fan in the stands. Earlier that game, he snapped at a fan that apparently gave him some harsh words. Westbrook following the game addressed his concern with the Jazz fans that night, and the whole series.

"“I think it’s something that needs to be brought up. I’m tired of just going out and playing, then the fans saying whatever the hell they want to say. I’m not with that. If I was on the street, they wouldn’t just come up to me and say anything crazy, because I don’t play that s—.”"

Westbrook finished the night with 46 points on 18-of-43 shooting. It was a rough night overall for the Thunder as they couldn’t stay in the series and force a Game 7. Paul George missed a controversial no-foul call three pointer at the end of the game which would’ve tied it if he had made those three free throws. The Thunder had quite the rollercoaster of a season, and hopefully things will be changed around for this team to live up to the expectations come next season.
