44. . Edge. Florida State. Brian Burns. 24. player

The Atlanta Falcons added a quality wide receiver in the first round on Thursday, selecting Calvin Ridley from Alabama with the No. 26 pick. Ridley is an explosive playmaker, who teamed with the already stellar wide receiver group in Atlanta, should be an even better player at the next level. Quarterback Matt Ryan has so many options in this offense that it is silly, but the team does have some holes on the defense.

One area where they should target in the 2019 NFL Draft is bringing in some help on the edges. Vic Beasley Jr. is one of the best in the game at getting after the quarterback, but drafting a guy like Brian Burns from Florida State could give them another weapon in the pass rush. Atlanta plays in one of the toughest divisions in football, so you can never have too many people rushing the signal-caller.

For Atlanta, they have to be thinking about getting back to the Super Bowl this season. The way they lost two years ago has to have left a terrible taste in their mouth, and the organization is doing a nice job filling voids up and down this roster. They also added a terrific cornerback in Isaiah Oliver in the second round, so they are locked and loaded heading into the 2018 season.
