Penn State. Connor McGovern. 27. player. 52. . Offensive Guard

The Jacksonville Jaguars have the talent on their roster to make it very far this upcoming season, and they added another terrific piece in the first round on Thursday. Taven Bryan is the kind of player who can be very disruptive in the middle of your defensive line, and he will get every opportunity to play on a very good Jacksonville defense in 2018. This team nearly made it to the Super Bowl last season, so you can believe they are ready to take the next step this season.

When it comes to their first round selection in 2019, the Jaguars have the luxury of not really drafting out of need, but being able to take someone for depth. On their offensive line, they could use help on the interior, and drafting a guard could be the way to go. Connor McGovern is arguably the best guard in this draft class, and he would be a nice fit on an offensive line that cleared a lot of holes for Leonard Fournette last season.

The Jaguars were a quarter away from beating the New England Patriots in the AFC title game last season, as they held a ten-point lead heading into  the fourth quarter. That is not going to sit well with anyone this offseason, and despite the AFC South being a tough division, Jacksonville should come out on top. They made a serious commitment to Blake Bortles this offseason, and their season will ride or die on how well he does in 2018.
