The Boston Bruins host the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 3 of their second-round series. Here’s everything you need to know to watch.

On Monday, the Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the Boston Bruins by a final score of 4-2 in Game 2 of their second-round series. The matchup underscored the strength of the Bolts’ depth-ridden roster, as impressive performances from Brayden Point, Ondrej Palat, Tyler Johnson and Yanni Gourde allowed Tampa to claim victory and even the series up.

A stretch of games at TD Garden, however, ultimately provides Boston with the tools needed to capitalize on a potential shift in overarching momentum. For the Bruins to win Game 3, their top line must continue to marry two-way strength with commanding numbers. That said, the team’s depth is also due to take charge of the upcoming matches. Look for Jake DeBrusk, Danton Heinen and Rick Nash to join in on the scoring and rival the complexity of Tampa’s lineup.

The Bolts’ true strength lies in their ability to spread deadly offense across four lines. Nevertheless, it’s surprising that the team’s top combination of J.T. Miller, Steven Stamkos and Nikita Kucherov has failed to register a point over the course of two games. For Tampa to win this series, the organization’s stars must step up and match the Bruins’ devastating attack. A win on the road would be a massive steal, so expect the Bolts to come out crashing.
