It’s never too early to look ahead to college football bowl season and the playoff, so take a look at the 2018 bowl game and playoff schedule.

Spring football has only just come to a close but nothing is going to stop us from looking ahead to the end of the 2018 college football season. It’s never a bad time to plan ahead so if you’re looking to travel during bowl season or the College Football Playoff, we now have the schedule for all those games.

There are 37 bowl games this year, including the two semifinal playoff games and the National Championship Game. The playoffs begin on Sat, Dec. 29 with the Orange Bowl and Cotton Bowl as the host for those two games. The winner of those two games will meet in the title game on Monday, Jan. 7. The first Monday after New Year’s Day has been reserved for the title game, but there will be a slightly longer gap between the semifinals and the title game as they’re playing before New Year’s.

Normally there weren’t any other games between them and the title game but that won’t be the case this year with nine games in between, including the major New Year’s Day games like the Rose, Sugar and Fiesta Bowls.

The bowl season begins with the Celebration Bowl on Dec. 15, one week after the Army-Navy game and the awarding of the Heisman Trophy ceremony. There will be a loaded six-game schedule that begins at noon and will end around midnight with the New Orleans Bowl.
