2. Josh Rosen – Arizona Cardinals

Rosen may be upset that nine other plays went before him in the draft, but he should be pleased at his ultimate landing spot. The Cardinals give him a significant chance to earn the starting nod right out of training camp.

The Cardinals would prefer to let Sam Bradford serve as their starter this season, but he has almost no chance to stay healthy for a full 16 games. That means that the Cardinals will ultimately be forced to choose between Rosen and Mike Glennon.

Glennon got his shot to show he was a viable NFL starter last season with the Bears. His performance in Chicago was an unmitigated disaster. Glennon posted a horrific QBR of 25.4 last season. If the Cardinals elect to play him for any length of time there should be serious changes in the coaching staff.

That means the door is wide open for Rose after Bradford inevitably gets injured. Fortunately for the Cardinals, he already has the arm talent and poise to make plays from the pocket. He may be an injury-risk himself, but he has the ability to help the team in his first season.
