The Jazz need all the help they can get against Houston. If Ricky Rubio is able to return for Game 4, it could be just the lift they’re looking for.

The Utah Jazz are searching for answers after being blown out by Houston in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Fortunately for Quin Snyder and company, help may be on the way.

The Jazz have upgraded starting point guard Ricky Rubio to questionable for Sunday’s Game 4 against the Rockets. Utah will need to have all of their talent on hand if they hope to stem the Rockets’ momentum.

James Harden and company looked flat out dominant for long stretches against the Jazz in Game 3. The 21-point margin of victory actually made the game seem closer than it actually was. The Rockets led the game by as many as 37 before Utah closed the gap in the fourth quarter.

The reality is Utah probably wouldn’t be in this position without Rubio’s stellar play against Oklahoma City. The Spanish veteran torched the Thunder to the tune of 14.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 7 assists per game. The Jazz offense just doesn’t have enough talent to operate at a high level without Rubio at the controls.

Let’s take a look at the top three ways Rubio can lift his team if he’s able to return for a pivotal Game 4 in Houston.
