The 2018 Kentucky Derby has a post-time of 6:46 p.m. ET. Here’s everything you need to know when you tune in for the greatest two minutes in sports.

When the field of three-year-olds take the field for their 6:46 p.m. ET Kentucky Derby post time, don’t move a muscle. The race, famously completed in slightly over or slightly under two minutes, will be over in a flash. But no need to limit yourself.

The Derby is the marquee race of a day — a weekend, really — of races at Churchill Downs. NBC will begin its broadcast at 11:30 a.m. ET, covering the parades and paddocks and the undercard races. In addition to the NBC Sports App, you can watch the Kentucky Derby with a free seven-day trial on fuboTV.

The field, by post position, for the Kentucky Derby is as follows:

  1. Firenze Fire (Paco Lopez) (65-1)
  2. Free Drop Billy (Robby Alberado) (42-1)
  3. Promises Fulfilled (Corey Lanerie) (41-1)
  4. Flameaway (Jose Lezcano) (53-1)
  5. Audible (Javier Castellano) (6-1)
  6. Good Magic (Jose Ortiz) (8-1)
  7. Justify (Mike Smith) (7-2)
  8. Lone Sailor (James Graham) (29-1)
  9. Hofburg (Irad Ortiz Jr) (24-1)
  10. My Boy Jack (Kent Desormeaux) (5-1)
  11. Bolt d’Oro (Victor Espinoza) (8-1)
  12. Enticed (Junior Alvarado) (52-1)
  13. Bravazo (Luis Contreras) (68-1)
  14. Mendelssohn (Ryan Moore) (5-1)
  15. Instilled Regard (Drayden Van Dyke) (99-1)
  16. Magnum Moon (Luis Saez) (13-1)
  17. Solomini (Flavien Prat) (68-1)
  18. Vino Rosso (John Velasquez) (18-1)
  19. Noble Indy (Florent Geroux) (49-1)
  20. Combatant (Ricardo Santana Jr) (79-1)

Justify is the favorite, with Mendelssohn and Audible boasting the next best odds. Justify is ridden by Mike Smith, one of the best jockeys in the game coming off a third-place finish in the Kentucky Oaks Friday night.

Tune into NBC or the fire up the NBC Sports app at 6:46 p.m. ET and not a minute later for the 2018 Kentucky Derby.
