The Winnipeg Jets host the Nashville Predators in Game 6 of their second-round series. Here’s everything you need to know to watch.

After losing in the Stanley Cup final last season, Nashville was a popular pick to get back to the Stanley Cup final again. However, the Predators are one loss away from behind eliminated by the Winnipeg Jets. Winnipeg won Game 5 in Nashville 6-2 and now have the chance to advance to the Western Conference final in front of their home fans.

Through five games the bigger difference between Nashville and Winnipeg has been in net. Connor Hellebuyck has significantly outplayed Pekka Rinne. Hellebuyck has a .926 save percentage, nearly 40 percentage points higher than Rinne’s .887 save percentage. If Nashville is going to see Game 7, they need Rinne to steal Game 6.

Nashville’s top offensive players, Filip Forsberg and Ryan Johansen have delivered against Winnipeg. However, every other Nashville forward has struggled. Viktor Arvidsson. Kyle Turris, Craig Smith and Kevin Fiala all broke the 40 point total in the regular season. Against Winnipeg, the four forwards have combined for eight points. While Nick Bonino and Colton Session have failed to record points in the series. Nashville needs more production from their second and third lines if they are going to win Game 6.

After struggling for much of the playoffs, Kyle Connor had his best game of the playoffs, scoring twice. Seven different Jets players have at least four points against Nashville. If the Jets can continue to get scoring from all of their lines, they could end up celebrating their first Stanley Cup.
