2. Aaron Rodgers

Rodgers is the best in the game today. In terms of skill set, no one brings more to the table. He can throw from the pocket, scramble and throw on the run, and he can even gain yardage on the ground when necessary.

A broken collarbone prematurely ended his season in 2017. When his season ended, he had completed nearly 65 percent of his passes, had over 1,600 yards, and better than a 3:1 touchdown to interception ratio. So, despite being 34, he’s still got a lot left in the tank.

The Packers have a decent wide receiver corps with Randall Cobb and Devante Adams. They also added tight end Jimmy Graham, who had 10 touchdowns in 2017, and showed he’s still a viable target in this league, despite a couple of down years with the Seattle Seahawks.

Those offensive weapons combines with the additions the Packers made to the back end of their defense in the draft could make them formidable in the NFC North. If Rodgers can guide this team to the playoffs, and possibly win an NFC North title, he will most certainly be in the running for the MVP, which would put him on the short list of three-time NFL MVPs.
