After a shocking death in the first half of the two-part season finale of Lucifer, the team struggles to solve Charlotte’s murder and heal from her loss. But there’s more to it because the killer is walking among them.

Here’s the official synopsis of Lucifer “A Devil of My Word,” via TV Guide.

There was so much packed into the first part of the season 3 finale that the news of Lucifer’s cancellation was like a punch in the gut. The showrunners have already said the finale includes a massive cliffhanger that leads into season 4, which means that Lucifer needs a new home for sure because we can’t possibly end like this.

After three seasons of viewing, Chloe and Lucifer finally express their feelings about each other. Maze and Linda are close to resolving a longstanding feud and the team has to work together to bring down Charlotte’s killer and avenge her death. We also saw Amenadiel ascend back to heaven, so will we see him again?

There are so many things that need to be resolved before the show ends, which is all the more reason Lucifer needs a new home!
